Comments: PROJECT SOLDIERS ANGELS - This is what you need to know. We are collecting items to be placed into boxes to be sent to the Project Soldiers Angels program. They in turn send them to our heros serving in combat areas. Further back on this site you will find a list of items they have requested for female soldiers. Please send any or all of these items to either Barb Moreno, Cookie Availia or to Sarah Belcher. Barb has all addresses, just email her for it. (puppytoes8@gmail.com) We only have about 6 months left to complete this project so let's get busy and do this. You may request help from other family members, friends or even organizations in your community BUT YOU MAY NOT ASK ANY OTHER MILITARY UNIT TO DONATE!!!! Do not go on any post seeking donations. When you send one of us a box (or whatever you put your items into, I got a padded envelope with some) please include a list of what's in it. There is no need to search for anyones name to send them too as we already have this covered. You may also/or send a check if you choose to Make it payable to Project Soldiers Angels. Comments: Hello all, Just letting you guys know that more information for the Angels in Afg. will be coming soon. Cookie and I are actively working on getting this up and flying. This isn't something we could just start doing on our own. Lots of things we had to look at and get approved. As soon as we know everything we have to do and rules we need to follow, etc. Barb will let everyone know. Keep up your prayers for them all. Sarah Belcher

Comments: Do you have any idea how long the boat trip (without brunch) would take? Actually not just the boat ride itself but the time needed to get to the boat; the trip; and back to the hotel. An approximation would suffice before I could respond to your inquiry.
Admin reply: The hotel is located two to three blocks from the Arch and the docks are right below the Arch. The boat trip without a meal will be about one to one and a half hours long and with meal about two to two and a half hours long.

Comments: Hey Everyone. Reunion registration is coming near so now Kathy and I need to make a decision. Since we are going to St Louis we talked last year about having our meeting this year aboard a boat. So what we need to know is - how many are interested in just a boat trip (cost about $20) or a brunch trip (cost about $40). Comments: Hello Barb, My family made it through the holidays without my mother for the first time, and gotta admit, it was really rough at times, but we're still kicking. I go back to Ft. Story tomorrow am for a list of units in Afg. with the most females. My family won't do, they are all Air Force and living in the Holiday Inn. Lightweights. Anyway I did not see the show about what to send,so I need ideas from you guys and any suggestions are welcome. I'm still dedicated to this project and excited to be a part of it. I know this is going to make a difference over there. So I'll let you all know what we have tomorrow afternoon. I think I have a wrong phone # for Cookie, but will try again tomorrow.
