Hi Brothers. Waited a while to see how things went but not much change.
My younger brother Gary L. Terry ,HHT Regt. 69/70 has had several strokes. I guess he is as best as he is going to get, which is good, just not his ole self anymore. Any change I'll let y'all know. Keep him and family in prayers.

Hi,
Thank you for your service in the US Army and Welcome Home ..
Like you, I served this country during a difficult time. My time was spent in the US Marines from Nov 1967 to Oct 1973.
I am sending this letter because a friend lost her brother on Oct 17, 1967 as he was serving with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment .. specifically C Troop 1/11. Her brother was SP5 Richard Weeder .. his information can be found on this site in the KIAs secion
Richard was killed by small arms fire while on a search and destroy mission about 40 miles from Saigon .. Operation Bainbridge. Few other details are available.
It would be great if you knew Richard and had a story to share .. a picture to share .. would be willing to talk by phone .. of course, if you live in the Phoenix or Modesto area perhaps you would like to join us for lunch and a toast to Richard and all those we lost.
My cousin Robert Johnson was also at Vung Tau/Blackhorse. He was with the 135th Assault Helicopter Company. It seems he provided perimeter duty most of the time but was a door gunner on occasion.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Mike

Hi all! I wanted to reach out regarding my girlfriend's father, 2LT Peter Galliett , Howitzer Battery, 1/11 in 1969. He passed away some 20 years ago and just recently she is uncovering some of the paperwork and letters from his time there. We are trying to piece things together and I found your page. If in fact he was part of the 11th we'd love to find out more information about your group and how to get involved.
Thank you for your time in advance.
Best, Josh Madsen
