Comments: Hi Raune, Crist lives in Mexico. Last saw him at some reunion about 5 years ago. I've got his email somewhere. Email me at ikerooney_at sign_yahoo_dot_com. Who was your company clerk at the time? Kellogg? There are a few of the early Red Devils still around, but many have died over the years, 1SG Cox, Frank Gowrie...
We just finished up our 919th reunion in Colorado Springs and plan one near Gettysburg two years from now. The 11thACVVC has a reunion coming up in Indiana in September and the Blackhorse Organization usually has theirs in June.

Comments: I am sure that someone must still be alive from the 919th Combat Engineer's "Red Devils". That remembers the first major operation that we were on and our Armor Personnel Carrier 33 that I was riding on hit an "IED" explosive device (Presumed to Have been an 155 round. The concussion shook the hell out of every body and the concussion blew me from the track and the next thing I remember I came too on the ground. The right side of my chest hurt like hell. However, the medic determined me to be ok. But, a few days later I was on a medical evacuation to the 24th evacuation hospital in long \Binh Vietnam. I my medical records and my army records are missing from the time the 919th Engineers was formed in Ft. Hood Texas, and to include 1968-1969 when I was in the Special Ops in Thailand and LAO's and Vietnam. If you have any info about that incident or have you experienced the same problems please write me. am trying to get my military records reconstructed and this takes letters from people have experienced same problems. I am trying to get disability and as you know trying to get something from VA is like winning the lottery. Lenza J. Eldridge Greenberet46th@yahoo.com
